I grew up moving between alphabets — and I've spent my life helping others feel at home in more than one.

Born in the Middle East and shaped by the rhythms of multiple cultures, I've built my work around three intertwined passions: teaching language, writing for children, and interpreting for the people who need to be heard most.

With a background in linguistics and over a decade of professional interpretation, I work with families, schools, hospitals, and courts across Canada and beyond — bringing care, accuracy, and warmth to every exchange.

My picture books, including My Preemie Sister is One, are inspired by my own family — small stories with big hearts, written for the children I love and the parents who love them back.
